We want you to be completely satisfied with BudgetMan. If you're not happy with your purchase, we offer a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase.
Who is Eligible?
Refunds are available for:
- First-time Pro tier subscriptions (monthly or annual)
- Requests made within 30 days of initial purchase
- Customers who have made a good-faith effort to use the software
What is NOT Eligible?
Refunds are not available for:
- Free tier usage (no payment made)
- Requests made more than 30 days after purchase
- Renewal charges (only initial purchase is eligible)
- Subscriptions purchased through third-party resellers
- Violations of our Terms of Service
How to Request a Refund

Please include:
- Your account email address
- Purchase date and transaction ID (if available)
- Brief reason for the refund request (optional, helps us improve)
Refund Processing
Response Time: We will respond to your refund request within 2 business days.
Processing Time: Once approved, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.
Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase.
Account Access: Upon refund approval, your Pro tier access will be downgraded to the Free tier. Your data remains intact in your Google Drive.
Subscription Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Paddle customer portal. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period.
Refund: A refund returns your payment and immediately ends your Pro access.

Data and Privacy
Requesting a refund or canceling your subscription does NOT delete your data. All your financial data remains in your Google Drive and is accessible to you at any time.
If you wish to delete your account and all associated data from our licensing system, please submit a separate request to support@budgetman.us.
Exceptions and Special Cases
We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may grant exceptions to the 30-day policy in extenuating circumstances, such as:
- Technical issues preventing use of the software
- Billing errors or unauthorized charges
- Service outages affecting your ability to use BudgetMan

Payment Processor
All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our authorized payment processor and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles refunds according to their policies in coordination with our refund policy.
For billing inquiries or payment-related questions, you can also contact Paddle support through your customer portal.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
